Man Develops a Better Boxcutter
GRAND HAVEN, Mich. (AP) July 19, 2005 - Jeff Kempker's version of the better mousetrap is actually a better box cutter. The Klever Kutter is a small razor blade embedded in a plastic handle. It's almost impossible to cut yourself or anyone else. The safer box cutter is generating a lot of interest in the post Nine-Eleven world. Michigan-based marketer Orville Crain went nuts over the Klever Kutter. He tells The Muskegon Chronicle that everybody wants a slice. It's going to be tested in a Michigan supermarket chain where employees have a high rate of box cutter injuries. Inventor Kempker says he just hopes he can sell enough to replace his '92 Buick Regal.
